Graduate students in the Brauer lab will obtain their degree through the University of Ottawa Biology Department and are subject to the requirements of the graduate program. Students will be hired at AAFC through the Research Affiliate Program or the Federal Student Work Experience Program. Please note we are not able to hire international graduate students who reside outside of Canada at the time of application. Prospective students who currently reside in Canada, are Canadian citizens or who have permanent residency status are encouraged to apply.
All students are encouraged to apply for scholarships (in the fall) including the Ontario Graduate Scholarship or the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council scholarships with support from Dr. Brauer.
Honors students from the University of Ottawa are also welcome, please contact Dr. Brauer to see if there are spots in the lab.
Postdoctoral fellows and summer students are encouraged to contact Dr. Brauer directly to learn about potential positions.
